Think Electric When Choosing Cloakroom Heaters

Most modern cloakroom radiators look pretty much the same as the heated towel radiators in the kitchen or bathroom.

Most of them are in the ladder style because they are compact and do not take up much room.  Moreover there will be room for several towels on the rungs of the ladder.

Many manufacturers now design small heaters for awkward little places such as cloakrooms.  You do not need a full sized radiator to keep your toilet area warm.  Of course, these heaters are also ideal if you have a small en-suite bathroom.

If you look on the internet you will find that the brand name Zehnder crops up often.  This is because they specialise in these types of heaters.  You can choose from stylish polished metal ones or if you prefer it they are also produced in painted finishes.

If you want your heater connected to the central heating system, you will find that in all ranges you have this choice.  Of course, your radiator does not work in the summer months when the heating is switched off.  But you need not worry; there are electric and dual fuel styles available too.

For a small room such as a cloakroom, you may want to think electric.  These rooms do not take much to be heated up and as with all modern radiators, the electrical versions are now very energy efficient.

Moreover, you can have one fitted in no time at all as all they need is a handy nearby power source. Because electric heaters are sealed units, they require minimal maintenance. You may have to wipe them now and again to keep them looking nice.

Otherwise, you do not have to bleed them to let air out and neither do you have to flush them out to get rid of debris in the pipes. Central heating systems need to be checked over every year, especially the boiler. With electric radiators you need not bother and they will also not produce noxious gases to pollute the atmosphere.
